There is a pestilence hanging over this country like a dark cloud, and many people are not even aware of it. No one has ever tried to cure this problem that affects millions of people each day. Until now. The problem I am speaking of is GULLIBILITY. Many people are afflicted with this horrible disease and are not even aware of it. Chances are you may know some one who is GULLIBLE. You might even be GULLIBLE and not even know it. And if you are aware of your problem, you know how devastating it can be to live with this affliction day after day. I have seen the effects of GULLIBILITY first hand, and let me tell you, it is not a pretty sight. That’s why I have made it my personal goal to try and wipe out GULIBILITY in our lifetime. Here’s how you can help. You know the one’s. “This poem was written by a 7 year old dieing of lung cancer from 2nd hand smoke”. Or “ The American Cancer Society will give 5 cents each time you forward this email”. Or any one of the thousand other ones that are out there. So what I’d do is each time I received one of those emails, I’d send them a copy of this letter. Here’s what you can do. Copy this letter. Then each time you get something dumb in your email, send a copy to the person who sent it to you. The one thing I will ask of you is to please do not change the name and address in the letter. There are a couple of reasons why. First, I tried to word this letter very carefully so that it did not sound like a donation letter. Second, if anyone were to get in trouble if it was considered a donation letter, I would rather it be me instead of some innocent person. And third, if anyone does send a dollar, I have things written up already to send back to him or her, just like the letter says. So copy this letter and send it freely. Get even for those annoying emails or just to give someone a laugh or two.
